Stephen Dinan (Chair of Board) is a practical visionary who most recently created the Shift in Action program, which serves 10,000 global members of the Institute of Noetic Sciences. He also co-founded the PartnerShift Alliance, and has consulted to dozens of for-profit, non-profit, and political groups. He has authored the book Radical Spirit: Spiritual Writings of the Voices of Tomorrow, and is currently working on his next book, Sacred America. Stephen directed and helped to create the Esalen Institute's Center for Theory & Research, a think tank for leading scholars, researchers, and teachers to explore human potential frontiers. Stephen graduated from Stanford University with a degree in human biology and holds a master's in East-West psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. He has studied transpersonal psychology and assorted disciplines of transformation, including Holotropic Breathwork, which he has facilitated for more than a decade. Devaa Haley-Mitchell (Director of Programs & Development) works both as a nonprofit consultant and as an interfaith minister & Spiritual Director. As a nonprofit consultant, Devaa focuses on fundraising and strategic planning. Current clients include Conservation Strategy Fund and NoBully, among others. Devaa recently served as the Director of Member Engagement at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). Prior to that, she worked as Executive Director of the Full Circle Fund, a social venture group based in San Francisco. Devaa is currently a doctoral student at Wisdom University, where she is pursuing a degree in Ministry, with a focus on using the arts for leadership development and conflict resolution. She also attended Stanford University where she earned both my BA in Anthropology and MA in International Development. As a Fulbright scholar, she spent several years working with indigenous groups in the Brazilian Amazon.

Lora O’Connor (Director of Partnerships & Alliances) is a producer, strategist, social entrepreneur, and former COO of several media/events and publishing companies. She is the founder of Inspired Productions, an organization designed to facilitate cross sector collaborations, where she has played a key role in producing social change events and civil society partnerships over a span of several decades including FarmAid, United Nations World Environment Day, and the recent 2009 Green Inaugural Ball with Al Gore, Van Jones and Will I AM. Lora has managed political campaigns at the local, state and national levels. As a member of TED, BALLE and many environmental groups, she serves at the vector of many collaborative movements. Lora also sits on several boards, including the UNPartnership on Environment and Education and Opportunity Green. She served on the Presidential campaign for Barack Obama on both the CA Finance Committees and the DNC Women’s Leadership Committee. |

J.T. Brown III (Project Director) has over 20 combined years of diverse professional service spanning the areas of technology, governance, financial engineering, knowledge management, training, sustainability, and spirituality. After receiving a B.S. in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, J.T. spent over 12+ years on Wall St. working as a Vice President for J.P. Morgan and a consultant for Ernst & Young - specializing in financial risk management and technology services. Since then, J.T. has worked as an independent consultant and researcher specializing in organizational systems and sociocratic governance. He has also spent many years exploring the healing sciences, meditation, and consciousness where he recently was a resident at an ashram of the Self-Realization Fellowship. After his residency, J.T. moved to the San Francisco Bay area to study sustainable development at the Presidio School of Management. |

Matthew Albracht
(Director of Community Engagement) is a long-time ecological and social justice activist working on various campaigns over the years to help create a more just and sustainable world. He was the Managing Director of The Peace Alliance from its founding until 2007. During his tenure, he helped organize a grassroots network of thousands of citizens now active in all 50 states. He was the Managing Director of The Peace Alliance Foundation (formerly called The Global Renaissance Alliance) from March 2000 until January 2005. Matthew has a B.A. in psychology from Sonoma State University in California focusing on Ecopsychology. He also has an M.A. in Humanities and Leadership with a focus on Culture, Ecology and Sustainable Community from New College of California. |

Dionisio Ceballos (Videographer) was born and raised in Mexico City. He began his career as a visual artist working mainly in paint and mixed media. He studied at Universidad Ibero Americana, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in communications. During this period, Dionisio developed a deeper interest in film and began incorporating the language of film into his paintings. His first entry into the world of film-making was as an artist for an animated short film entitled, "Four Ways to Cover a Hole" (an official selection for the 1996 Cannes Film Festival). Dionisio’s first individual painting exhibition was in 1997 at the Museum of Popular Cultures in Mexico City. From 1997-2002, he participated in numerous collective exhibitions throughout Mexico. In 2001, he again became involved in film when he was invited to paint several reproductions of the work of Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, for the Miramax Film "Frida" (starring Salma Hayek). In 2006 he wrote and directed his first short film entitled "At the End of the Day." Currently living with his wife and daughter in the San Francisco bay area, he continues to create his art through the disciplines of paint and film ( www.dionisio.com.mx). |
